In 2024 I was introduced the team and work began on this 1 acre site which contained an existing 19,000 sq. ft. former industrial use. The property was in an industrial designation and zone and an OPA & ZBA were required to permit the full use of the building as what is now Windsor's largest and newest Middle Eastern Market. Officially opened on July 4, 2026 with many excited regular and new customers taking in the beautiful new store that includes a huge meat counter, colourful produce section and lots of space of an expanded grocery area.

The approval process started in 2024 to rezone the property to permit a five storey apartment building on a 1.4 acre site located between McNaughton Ave E. and Grand Ave E. on the east side of Taylor Ave. Approval for the zoning was granted in April of 2025. Site Plan approval followed soon after with construction starting in late 2025.

The property started out as two lots with a single detached on one & converted dwelling on the other that were removed. The lot was vacant for many years and used for parking. Consideration of redevelopment started in the late spring of 2025. The final design was for a 2 1/2 storey multiple unit building with a mix of unit sizes. Final approval was granted April of 2026. Construction is pending.
